The Austin-Healey 3000 is the definitive British sports car of the late fifties and sixties: a 2.9-litre straight-six under a long louvred bonnet, wire wheels, a low-cut door, and an exhaust note that sits somewhere between a growl and a bark. The BN7 is the two-seat variant, the purist's choice, and the Mk III of 1964 brought a walnut dashboard, wind-up windows and 148 hp. They were formidable rally cars — the works team won their class everywhere from the Alps to the Liège-Rome-Liège — and they remain thrilling, uncomfortable and completely addictive to drive.
This car is the two-seat BN7 version of the Austin-Healey 3000, the purist's choice within a model that made its name in international rallying. Body variant, originality and condition matter as much to that lineage as the headline power figure.
This example is finished in White over Black, showing 46283 mi on the odometer (a displayed reading, not a guarantee of total distance).
