Cadillac Eldorado Seville

Eldorado was Cadillac's halo, and the mid-fifties Biarritz convertible and Seville hardtop were priced close to double a standard Coupe de Ville. What the money bought was a hand-finished body with a distinct rear deck, wire wheels, and details found on no other Cadillac — including, on 1957–58 cars, the shark-fin rear treatment. The 365 cu in V8 with dual four-barrel carburettors delivered effortless torque, and the interiors were trimmed to order in leather and metal. These are among the most collected American luxury cars of the decade.
