Dodge Coronet R/T 426 Hemi

The 1966–70 Coronet is the B-body that gave Dodge its performance credibility. The R/T package made the 440 Magnum standard with the 426 Hemi optional, backed by heavy-duty suspension, larger brakes and a Charger-style instrument cluster. The 1968–70 cars wear one of the best shapes of the era — a pronounced double-bulge "coke bottle" flank, a wide grille and a squared tail — and the Super Bee variant applied the Road Runner's budget-performance formula to Dodge's showrooms. These are usable, quick, comfortable cars with genuine provenance in NASCAR and NHRA competition.

This car belongs to Dodge's B-body performance line, where the R/T package brought heavy-duty running gear and the largest engines Chrysler offered. Engine code, factory documentation and originality matter as much to that lineage as the headline power figure.
