Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona

The 365 GTB/4 — universally called the Daytona, a name Ferrari never officially used — was the last of the great front-engined Ferrari V12 road cars before the mid-engined era took over. Its 4.4-litre quad-cam V12 makes 352 hp, drives through a rear-mounted five-speed transaxle, and pushes the car to 280 km/h, which made it the fastest production car in the world when it launched. Pininfarina's shape, drawn by Leonardo Fioravanti, is all long hood and abrupt tail.
