Lincoln KB Victoria Coupe V12

The Lincoln K-series of the early thirties was Edsel Ford's answer to Packard and Cadillac, and the KB carried a 448 cu in V12 producing 150 hp — a colossal figure for 1933. Chassis were shipped to coachbuilders like LeBaron, Judkins, Brunn, Dietrich and Willoughby, who built bodies to individual order. A Victoria coupe is a formal two-door body with a close roofline and a small rear compartment. These cars represent the very top of American pre-war craftsmanship, built in tiny numbers during the depths of the Depression.Lincoln became Ford Motor Company’s principal luxury marque after Henry Ford purchased it in 1922.
