An original and beautiful example. Many car enthusiasts admire this sleek Italian beauty. Its clean lines and low roofline, combined with the high trunk, make it a distinctive and instantly recognizable model.

The interior features an impressive amount of Connolly leather and exquisite wood trim. It is a truly luxurious car — one we can easily picture parked in front of a magnificent Italian palazzo. That scenario is entirely plausible, given that from its delivery on October 7, 1993, until its importation to the Netherlands on December 14, 1998, the car remained in Italy with its original owner from Bologna. The most recent Dutch owner has looked after it since 2013 — though "looked after" hardly does justice to the care involved; "cherished" would be a more fitting description. It was a car kept purely for pleasure, taken out of the garage only in fair weather. Naturally, this resulted in the current low mileage of just 105,000 km.

Maintenance was performed by a specialist, and invoices are available. An engine overhaul/rebuild and clutch plate replacement were carried out in 2015 (at Auto Forza). In 2023, the steering rack and front brakes were overhauled. The timing belts were also replaced on several occasions, as prescribed.

We view this Maserati Ghibli 2.0 Bi-Turbo as a delightful Italian classic featuring a beast of a 24-valve V6 engine that delivers a remarkable 306 hp. Its performance is truly phenomenal — and all the more impressive because you can clearly hear and feel the turbos doing their work. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, which is exceptionally fast for a car from 1993. Paired with a superb 6-speed manual gearbox, the Ghibli is a thrill to drive. Yet, it is equally smooth and composed at lower revs. Speed ​​is great, but the car is also capable of a very relaxed drive — something the team from Modena clearly understood well.
