Other Panther J72 Roadster

The Panther J72 is a British neo-classic built to evoke the pre-war Jaguar SS100, with cycle-style front fenders, a louvred bonnet, exposed side exhaust and a hand-finished aluminium body over a tubular chassis. Underneath is a Jaguar XK straight-six or a V12, a Jaguar gearbox and a proper leather-and-walnut cabin. Panther built them in small numbers and by hand, and they were expensive — a J72 cost roughly twice what a contemporary E-Type did.

This car is a British neo-classic, hand-built in small numbers over a tubular chassis with Jaguar running gear beneath a body styled after the pre-war SS100. Build numbers, originality and condition matter as much to that lineage as the headline power figure.
