By the autumn of 2023, KITT’s exterior and interior were nearly complete. However, the car remains an unfinished project.
The only thing preventing the car from passing inspection is the absence of the front turn signals.
Technically, the car is in largely original condition; it hasn't been tampered with. Of course, this also means that the engine, transmission, and rear axle will require attention in the future. There is also potential to extract more power from the engine—currently 150 hp? (It would need: a Sniper EFI system, camshaft, cylinder heads, exhaust headers, etc.)
The car was painted in Estonia in 2023, but the quality of the workmanship leaves something to be desired.
As a tip, building a perfect KITT replica costs around 50,000 euros in total—so, for instance, this car requires an additional investment of about 20,000 euros if you want it to be perfect.
(And for those looking to haggle: I have already put nearly 32,000 euros into this car.)
