Saab 1979 Saab 900 Turbo 8v

For sale a piece of legendary Saab history. A rare 900 Turbo from the 70s!

The Saab 900 Turbo is a legendary Swedish classic car produced between 1978 and 1994, known for its aeronautical design, iconic curved windshield and pioneering turbo technology.

First registration 30th of November 1979. This beautiful black car with neat red interior is in a good shape considering its age. It has a valid MOT and it is fully ready to drive.

I have owned the car for a 6 years now and I have been driving it mostly in summer time.

Car has a double grilled engine hood, an original 8k tachometer and the original 4-speed gearbox comes along. The car has now an upgraded 5-speed gearbox because it simply is so much better compared to original. Power steering, manual roof hatch, SAAB Clarion rear speakers etc.

The car was painted in 2020 and it is in a good shape. The chassi and the bottom of the car are in good shape aswell, and there is no need for a welding. After the painting I did not put the slim side trims back because the set is not complete and in my opition the car looks better without the side trims. The parts what are left come along if wanted.

Anyway car is almost 50 year old, so naturally there is a little bit this and that, but nothing immediate to repair or fix. Car is ready for road as it is and I drive it almost every day.

Unfortunately the original steering wheel is missing. Original Inca wheels comes along. In few of the photos car has US Turbo rims.

Location at the moment in Finland, but I will take the car to Germany when I find a serious buyer. I´m only selling this because I need cash to house renovation. I still have 2 Saabs in the garage so I will be ok :) I hope this rare beauty will find a good and respectful home!
